Former unified junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara is planning to return to the ring on August 31. And he says the opponent is slated to be the brother of unified middleweight king, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Lara is not exactly sure which of Canelo's brothers is slated to be the opponent - but Ricardo Alvarez has been inactive since September 2014 and Rigoberto Alvarez has long been retired, so that only leaves junior middleweight Ramon Alvarez.

Ugh. Idk what Canelo's brother has been up to to get a Lara fight, but I'm guessing its not much that anyone should care about. I was rooting on a Lara vs BCC II fight not a bs fight for Lara. Probably getting time for Lara to call it a career, but I feel like he might be around for awhile sadly.

Hopefully BCC is fighting a real guy next time out.
