Hughie is getting quite a lot of stick on here and Youtube. Hopefully he can turn it around.

Hughie is good European level but no more, any venture out with the big boy's will end badly.

I've for so long wanted hughi e to do well and challenge joshua. But after seeing him against pulev I realised how bad he was , even though he didn't do too bad against parker.
Against pulev he couldn't even throw a straight right properly.
Peter fury said they worked on weakness. Wonder what he's been teaching hughi e recently?
But hughi e seems to be improving g ever so slowly compared to josh. But maybe with hughie that's as good as it's gonna get. He's reached latent potential.
Too high expectations were put on him. Not every fury can be a tyson

Give him Michael hunter , I bet he'd make an excuse there for not fighting him

Hughie talked tough until Wilder offered him a fight a couple of years ago. All of a sudden he had to have a full 8 week training camp (he would have had 7.5 weeks, not 8 weeks)

He will never be better than a gate keeper.

Wonder if Hughie has equated feeling stronger with fighting worse opposition yet? Sure he said similar things after stopping Sexton.

He just doesn’t have the power to keep better fighters worried unfortunately, as others have said, gatekeeper / euro level seems to be about his level.

Hes fought Parker and Pulev, why should Hunter worry him?

It does seem that way at the minute.

I think the big boys when they realise they can’t have the fight turned around against them with 1 shot just get very comfortable. Just pour it on.

Tyson Fury is the exception because you can’t really hit that guy with a right hand and he’s just so long and awkward.
