    Re

Pedraza deserves respect for beating Beltran, who had the full backing of the ESPN machine.

ESPN produced a story, Beltran the hero, fighting for his US citizenship, against that Pedraza guy.

Pedraza rewrote the script though ....when he ran Beltran into an uppercut, that put him on the seat of his pants .

Pedraza went on to batter Beltran, and deny the storybook result for ESPN.

Everyone gets humiliated by Loma, no shame in that.

. Pedraza labored in obscurity, while Verdejo got the hype. Sosa came and went. The sniper is a working man's fighter, lots of preparation and honest effort.too bad he didn't get the backing. 140 looks like croc infested waters.

He’s got a nice showcase here. He should start taking fights at 140 and work his way to a shot at Jose Ramirez. What’s the worse that’ll happen. He loses a title fight. Like you said he’s a damn tough fighter who’s taken tough fights. You win some you lose some at the elite level. Pedrada is a major leaguer and deserves big boy respect. Hope he gets this w. Always liked this guy.
