  • Comments Thread For: Team Galahad: Warrington Beat Past Prime Frampton, Selby

DOMINIC INGLE has accused Josh Warrington of beating Carl Frampton and Lee Selby when the pair were on the slide. Warrington (28-0, 6KOs) took the IBF featherweight title from Selby in a huge upset 12 months ago and surprised Frampton in December in his first defence. Next up is Ingle trained mandatory challenger, Kid Galahad (26-0, 15KOs) at First Direct Arena, Leeds on Saturday June 15.

Idk wth this guy is talking about Frampton was just to small an his work rate was never that high so Warrington took advantage of it. Then with Selby idk wth happened he jus didn't show up or was drained an hasn't looked right to me

So what excuse when he beats Galhad. He just reminds me of a poor Naseem Hamed without real power. He wont beat Warrington who has improved i never rated him until he beat Selby. That night he would beat Leo Santa Cruz and gary Russell that is a fact.

I agree. I don't know why Ingle is talking smack about Warrington. He should be worrying about his own fighter. After all the juicing going on in his gym, he should probably shut his mouth.
On another note, who has Galahad beat? Nobody even close to the level of Warrington. I hope Ingle isn't shocked when he finds Galahad can't do whatever he wants in the ring against an opponent who is consistently getting better and has experience beating top contenders.

he's kind of right both were a touch on the slide Warrington caught them both at the right time, but both are 10 times better than anyone galahad has beat and there's every chance he would lose to either man

Interested to see what Ingle think they have over Warrington. He made Selby looked finished and then made Frampton (whod recently easily beat Donaire) look even more finished than Selby.

Galahad beat Clary by demoralising him by treading on his toes and breaking up all of his attacks with single shots. I think Warrington will swarm him if he tried the same but I don’t know s—t til they actually fight

Galahad fights nothing like Naz. He is a switch hitter but relies far more on fundamentals than Naz. Not saying he’s on the level of Naz obviously. Their style is nothing alike.

Don’t write off Kid Galahad in this one. He was one of the best prospects in the UK until his failed test and his career had no momentum until now. He could win this, he has a lot of talent.

He only looked impressive when he was on the gear since his comeback he hardly looks the beast since returning.
