This forum has gone to complete sh#t most of you are not boxing fans at all

Fans don't root against their own sport they calm to love. Boxing has its issues across the board and reading this forum you see exactly why this sport continues to fall behind MMA and other sports

Strong Numbers for Showtime, I'm sure they're extremely happy with their "Little Ratings" given that their #1 Original Programming don't even peak that high.

I Swear some of you was just praising 600K Views for Canelo vs Jacobs in the US alone which was suppose to be a BIG FIGHT! You also had Some Wilder fans saying 600K wasn't good so you're all a Bunch of WEIRDOS! Lets see what AJ vs Ruiz numbers look like here in a couple of weeks if they even release them. Remember the standard you have set and be Men enough to not double back off of those standards after you laughed at 900+K views Peak

Mayweather and Pacquiao ERA has created some of the dumbest fans this sport has ever seen and I'm not even joking!

It was a first Rd KO. Would've went over a million had the fight went longer. Those are damn good numbers

Good Keith Idec at it again. Since when do we combine Nielsen ratings with streaming numbers? Let alone combine that with ondemand replays? It was bad enough his article where he quoted FOX peak numbers then mentioned nothing but the normal TV avg numbers when comparing to the the competition FOX was up against. This is some serious bogus reporting. The number that is most important is the avg viewers because the peak numbers could literally be 30 seconds of the broadcast. And when other fights and events that are on TV are quoted and mentioned we look at the Nielsen ratings to compare them. But when PBC numbers suck get good ol Keith Idec to spit shine and take peak numbers and all kinds of there BS to add on top of the numbers to try and spin them as not that bad then a long paragraph about how they were going up against strong sports competition. Literally every week now we have to look forward to this type of reporting to try and prop up bad PBC ratings.

FACT these tv ratings did less then 800K viewers and were lower then each of Wilder's last 2 fights on Showtime. The fight didn't do good ratings. lol

Wilder vs Breazeale drew 791K viewers on saturday.
        Undercard ratings:
Gary Russell drew just 505K viewers
Heraldez vs Mendez drew 319K viewers

        2 previous fights on Showtime
Wilder vs Stiverne drew 824K viewers
Wilder vs Ortiz drew 1.1M viewers

Where are you getting these 48million off subscriptions when you can either take 20 bucks route or 99 bucks route and fight only did 1.2mil worldwide? Plus dazn didn’t release how many new subscribers they received from fight so safe to say you just pulling $h1t out your a$$

😂🤣 Best post today! IDK why fools on here get so excited over ratings and things like that,...
They either hate or swing off fighter's nutts because of ratings,... That makes no fuccing sense!
If you wanna see a fight on TV then watch it. If you don't then don't!
            That simple!
But I don't even know why fools on here be debating over TV ratings,... That seems stupid as fucc to me!
I'm just here reading all these clown's post's going back and forth over ratings,....
What a bunch of morons! 😆

Fight would've easily gone over a million if the fight lasted longer. But these idiots don't understand that.

Only in boxing can Wilder get more viewers than Canelo for around the same price but it's considered a failure.

Wilder has had 40 of those knockouts... showtime, if they paid him what they would have had to for him turning down the DAZN deal, cant be close to "ecstatic " right now.

In no way will Saturday night help sell a PPV fight against Ortiz.
Joshua and Wilder need to fight in the fall, the fight is not getting any bigger than it already is. Knocking out bums doesn't do anything for either guy at this point. Joshua only has a little to gain as he hasn't fought in the US yet so he may get a few more eyeballs on him for doing so.

And people need to stop with the "NBA game was on" BS. There's always something on, if you are gonna watch a fight, you tune in before the main event goes off regardless to see where the card stands. As if a huge influx of viewers were gonna come floating over from the NBA telecast that night. This is about as good as it gets for showtime at this point. Their ratings have been terrible for a while now. Wilder should be fighting on FOX, not showtime.

So almost another 250k viewers were gonna come strolling in at some point?

Wilder’s previous appearance on Showtime – an intriguing 10th-round knockout of Luis Ortiz – peaked at 1,200,000 viewers in March 2018. Wilder-Ortiz, which had much more time to build viewership, was watched by an average audience of 1,100,000.

Fight would've went over a million easily
