  • Comments Thread For: Wilder: No Regrets Over Saying Breazeale May Die on Saturday!

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is not concerned with the backlash over his recent statements regarding the upcoming fight with Dominic Breazeale. Wilder alarmed reporters on Tuesday, when he told them that he was still trying to get a "body on his record." He will make a mandatory defense against Breazeale on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

This might be morbid, but I'm sorta curious how this would shake out IF Wilder legit killed Breazeale in the ring Saturday.

Does Wilder calling his shot, so to speak, make him some sorta legend to some fans? Does actually killing a guy f#ck up Wilder like it seems to have done to many dudes before Wilder cuz he's just talking & not actually believing this sh^t? Do fans turn on him? Is his career over?

What does Wilder's future look like if Breazeale legit was dead come May 19? I honestly got no f#cking clue, but I definitely don't think its a good thing & I don't really get why Wilder keeps saying this sorta sh^t thats not a good look for him, this fight (unless some people legit wanna see if he can kill a guy in the ring) or boxing in general.

If WBC Guy really wants to test some code of ethics or w/e one of his title holders saying he wants to kill an opponent might be something to test that out on.

Dig Wilder. Think he's one of the most fun guys to watch fight in boxing today, but this sh^t seems waaaaaaay outta line.

This is such a lame way to try and hype up the fight. Wilder is corny.

If something were to happen , he would never be the same fughin man
Plus he’s calling it , just pure fughin ignorance
Theirs multiple ways to promote the fight and this is not one of them
Imo , if something were to happen all you’d see are all the replays of him saying it , probably get charged with something , it is premeditated now
Somebody gonna make that call if something were to happen

Man if he keeps talking like that it's gonna be him leaving in a body bag.

You can tell they know nobody cares about Wilder or the fight. This fight week has then in desperation mode. Pretending to have big statements to attract attention and keep repeating the. Death threats cuz death threats are a known talking point.

                Desperate times desperate measures.

He doesn't really mean that. He's saying that to sell himself and tickets

People still watch this protected hypejob's fights? Just hit the ignore button, figuratively speaking, and go on with your lives, folks. Nothing to see here. They are trying to manipulate you emotionally into watching mismatches you otherwise never would have asked to see. They're doing the same with Davis. Don't fall for it like a fool.
