Comments Thread For: Julian Williams: I Want To Make My Mark on Boxing History

Hurd would be a good place to start.

I kinda disagree. I could see a situation where he gets dropped early. Hurd thinks he’s finished. Then Julian mounts a comeback and boxes Hurd up.

If J Rock boxes as well as he can, this will be a great fight.

that Charlo KO was a thing of beauty - I don't know if Charlo will ever reproduce that in an important fight or if J-Rock will ever have to again face such a crushing counter.

Hurd is one of my favorite boxers - love his attitude, the head of steam he builds up, the relentlessness. Great to watch but maybe not so great for his health.

I like Williams too and hope Bread has success in his corner - but somehow if both perform to their highest levels I can't see Williams getting the nod. Getting by Lara will have raised Hurd's confidence to ridiculous levels.

If Williams is to win he'll have to out box (easier) and out dog (not easy) Hurd

I'm rooting for J-Rock, but I just don't see it.

This is a tough fight for Hurd.

I can see him falling behind and needing a KD or KO to win again.

I don't know how much longer he can fight those kinds of fight.

This might be the fight he just can't pull it off.

I'll still be rooting for Hurd.
