This match would go pretty much like Canelo-Angulo

I think Margarito would evenually walk and break Canelo down similar to the way he did Cotto. Hell, Canelo couldn't even hurt Cotto.

Margarita destroys him. Not many people can beat him historically speaking imo. There are plenty of fighters "better" on paper and skill wise, but Tony just had the almost invincible set of intangibles to go with a granite chin and otherworldly stamina. Hes a guy you can to the right things with, fight the right way, and he can still beat your ass from pillar to post. The guy you hate to spar because he knows no off switch and will just walk you down and have a smile while doing it.

All that aside though, Canelo is still a hype job who is basic as a fighter and has low IQ, and he gets by with gift wins. I could name many Mexican fighters who would beat him, we have already seen him lose. He isn't great and never will be.
