Former two division world champion Jessie Vargas has been beating the drum for a showdown with WBO junior middleweight champion Jaime Munguia. Last month, Vargas made his junior middleweight debut with a knockout of Humberto Soto in California. Munguia was also in action last month, when he won a close twelve round decision over Dennis Hogan on April 13 at Arena Monterrey, in Mexico.

Interesting fight. Seems like Vargas is a nice name to add to Jaime's resume, assuming he wins, & its a nice opportunity for Vargas win or lose. So makes sense for both sides, lets go mfers.
