Great stuff by Bread. This was a really good Mailberg.

I disagree about Porter I think he will be steamrolled. Porter has shown a lack of stamina against opponents that are equal in strength or stronger than him, because he has to work that much harder when he is on the inside. He was able to get away from stronger guys than him like Ugas, Brook, and Danny because they aren't very good at stalking and cutting off the ring.

Spence is a master at this. He will cut the ring off on Porter and I think he will be a hell of a lot more aggressive than he was against Garcia, he'll be as aggressive as he was against Brook.

Porter has a chin and also has heart so even if he gets dropped I don't expect him to fold. He'll take time to recompose and then he'll get back in there again.

But he'll probably lose every minute of every round but give a good account of himself.

I noticed that when hurt or dazed Porter uses his jab first and foremost to keep opponents away and then follows with his leg movement. But Spence is longer and I believe he has a more educated jab so I would like to see if this tactic will work for Porter.

As for his legs, I've seen Spence walk down opponents and cut off the ring on them, and I've seen him actually RUN down opponents.

Porter has some good body shots when he decides to use that avenue of attack. His bob and weave with the hooks underneath is very good, very Mike Tyson-esque.

However, even though this strategy has ALWAYS worked VERY effectively for him, he doesn't seem to be able to maintain it. Perhaps the contant hip, leg, and head movement combined with the aggression and punching takes a lot out of him.

Like to see how Spence counters this.

Spence is longer, stronger, punches harder, more skilled, and has more stamina.

It is his fight to lose. Porter is a dog, he'll keep coming, but ultimattely he'll get killed.

It might be a good idea for Jarrell Miller to get a shorter ban in return for naming who gave him all those PEDs. Let's bring some of the **** out into the light.

But then again fighters should ultimately be the ones held responsible for what they put into their own bodies.

So I have mixed feelings on this.

I really like Breadman but he is all wrong about the Khan quitting part.He acts like its no big deal because HE THINKS that a strong KO was about to happen.Well are we just going to do that going forward, if someone in media or he ll even a fan THINKS its about to be over then just stop it.Thats silly and your forgetting about THE FAN who pays ALL your salary's, Khan made a boatload of money and OWES to the fans to give all he had.Evertime that crap happens a few less buy PPV and cable and streaming service's.Which lower the amounts of clicks at websites which in turn hire less writers.Dont think he is looking at long term or looking out for fans.People I don't think get HOW BAD this is starting to get, they talk about PPVs records being broken but that's an illusion.Holy v Foreman did 1.8 when there was close to 10 mil homes that had PPV, May v Pac did 4.6 when their was well over 100 mil homes who had access.Do the math its not going in right direction.

Surprises me that Breadman would brush off what Khan did.
Breadman may be a trainer who knows his history and knows about analyzing fighters and their skills/abilities...
But I bet he's never fought before. No great fighter or Elite fighter would approve of a world class champion quitting unless they're too critically injured to continue.
This man didn't quit because he was injured, he quit to avoid a humiliating beat down because he knew he was clearly outmatched, period.
There's nothing admirable about what Khan did. He's lucky to be in a big event fight where he's getting paid his millions to give US a good fight.

Good stuff as always Bread, but I challenge you on a couple things; Khan won't fight 'any body' as you say cause he's been running from Brook for years. Also, I disagree with you on Spence being easier to hit than Crawford, let's just say they both offer opportunities to hit them. I think Spence deserves more credit for his technical abilities too, I was in the minority of fans that knew Spence could outbox Garcia. Spence will surprise you when he dismantles Porter, maybe then you'll stop "sleeping" on him. With that, peace!
