Comments Thread For: Roach: Joshua is Best in Division, But Better Beware of Tyson Fury

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has revealed that he made up with heavyweight contender Tyson Fury. Roach had assisted Fury with last year's camp to prepare for the December fight with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

He can fight but doesn’t have the power to keep Joshua off him from cracking that chin

It doesn't take power. It takes movement and feints. Just ask Joseph Parker, he barely hit him and still managed to keep him from cracking his chin.

Joshua is a real Heavy Weight Champion, and a good role model. Olympic gold medalist and true right owner of the heavy weight throne. He will beat Fury and Wilder in a close fight. He should fight Kubrat and hopefully Usyk if he makes some waves in HW division.

ps - I would not think much about Roach’s opinion i dont remember last time his prediction came true.

            2 things...

            1, Freddie wants a client.

2, Freddie has been terrible lately at calling fights.

While I say that AJ is a very good boxer, I still think that Fury, if in decent or good shape, would easily outbox him.

I'd also like to see some good prospects vs AJ, like Yoka, Ajagba or Hrgovic.

Usyk, too, is a great boxer and could beat AJ.

Roach has said numerous times that he respects Rob McCracken and that he doesn't steal fighters so no.1 is definitely wrong.

A dude can express an opinion, can't he?
