Comments Thread For: Arum: Danny Garcia Is Not A Real Fight For Terence Crawford

NEW YORK Maybe it was a mere coincidence. Or perhaps, as Elaine Benes once explained during an episode of "Seinfeld," it was a "big coincidence." Whichever's true, a couple hours after Danny Garcia dismantled Adrian Granados on Saturday night, Terence Crawford's promoter determined that a fight against Garcia later this year wouldn't be worth their time. Two weeks earlier, Bob Arum indicated to BoxingScene.com that he would again attempt to make a Crawford-Garcia fight if Crawford beat Amir Khan on Saturday night and Garcia defeated Granados.

So the other beltholders aren't real fights but Brook is? Same Brook that said he doesn't feel he weighs enough for the class and also looked terrible in his last fight. Okay. Arum not serious about Spence or anyone. Let them languish over there with fights that bring no interest

To see how the Craw/Spence promotion with arum /Haymon will work Craw/Garcia is a good try. Spence/Porter unification in motion. Arum has no one better in his stable to match Craw with. Garcia no bum lost 2 close dec to champs. Never beat up. In shape more offense he is a tough out for any WW

Haymon in charge of all WW except Craw so he has the upper hand Arum has no one else except faded Brooks to match Craw with. That’s why he is pressing Spence fight and it is best WW fight in years both in primes Nice.

The more I watch boxing the more I see how a lot of these statements are nothing more than posturing and business. How is Crawford vs any top welterweight NOT a good fight? Garcia looked good again after suffering two close losses and now he’s seen as more of a threat. Brook isn’t who he was before the GGG and Spence fights. Clearly that’s a fight that looks safer but also brings a fat paycheck with it. This is business, nothing more.

Gift Garcia doesn't want Crawford either.
So there's no point in talking about this fight.
                Swift is a confused individual.

Old man Bob is either suffering from the first stages of dementia or he’s on that stuff.

furthermore, TC struggled and got hurt to the head and the body. bob is doing his best to keep this charge going. TC is only getting older and less impressive by the performance if u really know boxing.
