You chose to re-sign with top rank knowing the best fighters in the welterweight division are with al haymon

If you wanted to stay with top rank then crawford should have took his time and made top rank reached contractual agreements with al haymon fighters to ensure they would fight crawford. And i am not sure this is even possible. So basically crawford is gonna fight Kavaliauskas who didnt look good vs ray robinson in his last fight and the plan was to have crawford fight lerriga but he just lost to avensyan

To clarify, i dont think crawford re-signed with top rank to avoid pbc welterweights . I think it was a financial decision with perhaps influence of familiarity and a tinge of motivation of loyalty. Crawford was not forseeing the possibility that haymon would engage in purposely preventing his very top welterweights from fighting crawford.
