The PBC does not want Ortiz fighting on DAZN platform as was in the case of Deontay Wilder. It's not because he is afraid or ducking Joshua it's because of his loyalty to Al Haymon. It takes a lot to be afraid of $7mil.

If he signs with Matchroom and DAZN then they would want to keep him and he would never return back to Showtime or the PBC again because DAZN would want future options on his fights. That's why this is Al's call and not Luis Ortiz'.
You have no idea whether or not Matchroom and DAZN want "options" on Ortiz. But "options" have become the go to excuse for PBC/LDBC idiots whenever Haymon blocks a big fight from happening.

If Haymon blocks this fight because he doesn't want Ortiz fighting on another network, how would that be any different from what you are accusing Hearn of doing .. without any evidence at all??

Ortiz is 40+ years old, was paid fckn peanuts by Haymon for fighting Wilder and has a sick daughter and steep medical bills to pay.

"Options" on his future fights should go to whoever is willing to pay him the most money for them.

Al Haymon won't allow anymore of his fighters from his stable to fight on DAZN again and that's a fact. Not even the Polish fighter Adam Kownacki or Luis Ortiz will be fighting on DAZN anytime soon or in the near future.

He is not going to allow Eddie Hearn to poach anymore of his talent. He's already stolen enough of them as it is. As a matter of fact, Al wants his fighter Daniel Jacobs back.

Joshua ducked Ortiz to fight Miller. He's found his courage to fight "short notice" Ortiz. "Full camp" Ortiz is still the Bogeyman.

I guess every fighter who is being accused of ducking another fighter should use the same smart tactic. First you sign to fight any opponent, then if the fight falls through for whatever reason, you must call out the guy you've been ducking and if he refuses to take it on short notice, now he's the one who is ducking! You can do it as late as five days before the fight date. Take the fight on short notice or you're a duck. Tank Davis should do that to Lomachenko.

Nah Ortiz isnt ducking IMO he wants the fight, if anything it would be PBC ducking and blocking the fight because would be a huge win for Matchroom/DAZN to steal an opponent away from Wilder and prevent WBC from ordering Whyte-Ortiz

Daniel Jacobs is a fighter who is signed to Al Haymon. He leased Daniel Jacobs to Matchroom but once Al got his platforms from both Fox and Showtime, Eddie never returned him back. So now that does makes Eddie Hearn a master because he won't return Jacobs back home to Haymon.
