Comments Thread For: Wilder: The Bottom Line - We're All Going To Fight Each Other

Even with still nearly nine months to go in 2019, boxing fans have already given up hope of seeing any combination of Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua facing one another this year. With that comes the next steps in their respective careers and the hope for the best of the rest to at least fall in line.

They offered Wilder the deal of a life time to fight AJ and he turned it down. He clearly ducked AJ.

People are getting annoyed because the Joshua-Wilder fight should have happened already. It's gonna be a damn shame if we gotta wait until 2020 for this fight, or one of these dudes lose their upcoming fight.

Joshua should have took the $50m he asked for!

What's taking so long for Whyte to announce his next opponent?

If whyte is complaining about being lowballed, you would think common sense would tell people that, Wilder, also feels like they wanna make a way higher split of revenue over him. It makes sense. All the fall-thru deals. Now a dazn deal with Joshua making maybe 80/20 of all splittable income compared to wilder. Only so called boxing fans are that dumb to think one should accept that when they are both their biggest draws. But the greedy backers of AJ would like to live off of some of that generated wealth no doubt. That’s the problem.

He already has a date and a venue, so we know Wilder is not next. I didn't even know if he was still with Hearn. I thought he was joining Top Rank?
