She’s absolutely right. That needs to change big time. In a 10 round fight they are fighting 20 mins instead of 30. There is a problem with power punching technique in women’s boxing altogether, they really need all the help they can get to increase excitement about women’s boxing

Boxing shouldn't even be 3 rounds to begin with for men. Fat and old MMA fighters can go 5 minute rounds, so boxers should do like six six-minute rounds.

But MMA only have 3 and 5 rounds. You want 5-6 minutes for 12 rounds in boxing??

The grind of 12rounds in boxing, is what makes it a true science. The attrition is real, which no other sport compares. That’s the beauty of it.

                  Haha...Sorry!

The new generation would probably like that concept.

Trouble is You do not have the pool of talent in women's boxing to go 3 min rds , it would be rather dangerous for anybody outside the top 6 or 7 in each division at the moment , but it would get rid of the women in their late 30s early 40s with inflated records against awful hand picked opponents , needs real thought as to who is capable of competing over the longer rds.. it will only take 1 women to get seriously hurt and all the progress made will all be lost .. all for equality but this is a serious business.. one last point is the physiological difference, as I understand it ( and I'm open to correction) women's skulls are thicker than men's so that's a consideration in their favour
