Did GGG get shoehorned versus Canelo, and has it tarnished Canelo's legacy?

Seems to me that GGG was hurt by not having a big promoter/manager, and in hindsight Canelo ran right over him. GGG was just a supporting actor for a couple of episodes on the Canelo show. GGG also won the first fight, and a draw in the second fight wouldn't have been out of the question. In the middle of it all Canelo got caught juicing but didn't miss a beat and has carried on his career like it never happened. Meanwhile GGG is like the forgotten man, being linked with fights against scrubs on a small show.
