Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Don't Think Klitschko Would Fight Me If He Comes Back

NEW YORK If Wladimir Klitschko actually does return to boxing, Deontay Wilder doesn't think Klitschko would want to fight him. A Ukrainian sports website posted a story Monday that stated Klitschko had agreed to a three-fight, $120 million deal with DAZN. A rematch with Anthony Joshua would've been one of those three fights, according to what turned out to be an April Fool's Day hoax, not legitimate news.

The same way you let Fury get a couple of Wins then challenged him after a 3 year hiatus.Call me crazy but Klitschko beats him if he is a shadow of the fighter that fought Joshua. I watched that fight yesterday and Klitschko was F#ucking Joshua up he hit him and threw him around the ring like a rag doll. How can anyone say Joshua don’t have a chin.! He got clobbered all night. If not for that 11th round Joshua would have lost.

Wilder is a one two fighter. Klitschko of old would neutralise him.

Klitschko would probably beat Wilder right now.

What is this clown talking about Klitschko for? He had a chance to fight him but instead he decided to fight 30 cans in a row before he finally stepped up.

Rule #1, never trust anyone that talks about themselves in third party. The moment they mention themselves in third party they sociologically distance themselves from from reality. It allows creative license (license to BS) and almost always pushes a narrative that often has little to do with the truth.

The best BS story has just enough truth to sell the story. In this case, Wladimir needs a tune up before a major fight, especially coming off of a loss. And that's about where the truth ends.

Breazeale would have been an ideal tune up but he already has a fight.

Wlad wouldn't fight him because winkle and haymon would not allow it just like they didn't allow it last time you could of faced him.

It's out there, everybody knows wilder is a big duck.

You make a great point, those were thundering shots and AJ got right back up. If not for that 11th round Joshua would have lost...period. What a lot of people don't know, or care to know, is that Wilder would often quit when sparing Wladimir. He knows Klitchko has his number and if Wlad looks good in a tune up you can be guaranteed Wilder will file behind AJ in the pay no mind list.
