Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: I Took Crawford Fight Because It Was Perfect For Me!

Amir Khan had the opportunity to secure a very large payday against his bitter domestic rival Kell Brook. But instead he accepted an assignment that was widely viewed as being far more dangerous, and for a little less money, against Terence Crawford.

Will a Khan fan please explain why he goes through this verbal routine before every fight, only to give a less than stellar performance.

This is the kind of rap - which BTW, never gets backed up - that make boxing fans savor the moment when he gets canvased.

I know I’m in the minority on this one but I think Crawford could be in for some big trouble in this fight.

Khan has never been outboxed and I think he has the height and reach advantage. I think the fight will look like khan vs Garcia where KhAn will be winning but will likely get clipped. I really don’t see this as a easy fight for Crawford like a lot of people think.

Im having a deja vu with Khan's delusional comments

It's building up exactly like the Canelo fight

"my power has triplicated!! I think I was born to be a Middleweight!"

the end result will be similar, most probably

I agree. If Khan isn't shot I think this could end up being a good fight.

I don't think Bud has the one shot power to KO Khan at will, so if Khan's chin can hold up and if he isn't shot, a couple big ifs, this could be a really entertaining and close boxing match. Khan can definitely box and if Bud can't get him out of there, there will be basically a lot of close rounds.

Khan needs his chin to show up like it did when he fought Maidana. I think Bud probably stops him in the mid-late rounds when Khan starts to tire at some point and Bud pounces but we will see. I think this is much more competitive than Garcia-Spence.

I think Khan will outbox Bud for how ever long it last, and if Khan don't get caught he has the speed and skills to give Bud all kinds of trouble
