More viewers watched Top Rank's boxing show live on ESPN last weekend than the card it aired the previous Saturday night. Nielsen Media Research figures released Tuesday stated Top Rank's doubleheader Saturday night from Philadelphia averaged 655,000 viewers. The telecast peaked at 832,000 viewers during the main event WBC light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk's fifth-round, technical-knockout victory over Doudou Ngumbu at 2300 Arena.

I’m not a Ufc fan but I sure do appreciate what ESPN is doing in not having Ufc and top rank compete with each other. It’s good to see them back to back like that. This was higher viewership than I expected due to being names only the die hard boxing fan would know.

ESPN is starting to find out that it was a huge mistake giving Top Rank exclusive boxing rights, they needed to allow all promoters to bring good content to their platform and not just Top Rank.
