Some UK fans may have said Selby was better than Edwards, but i'm not one of them. Edwards does everything so much better than Selby. He beat Rosales much better than Selby too.

Martinez has the boxing ability of a goat. All he has is power. But Edwards will keep a tight defence and pick him off with his greater speed and timing. His ring IQ is just too superior.

Besides, Selby didn't know anything about Martinez to really study him. Edwards doesn't have that problem because he now knows what he's got in front of him and what Martinez is all about. He'll be able to prepare for him specifically.

Martinez did land some shots on Selby, I won't dispute that. But they had no effect on him. Only that body shot did. But it's not surprising considering Selby has pretty poor defence. Edwards has great defence. Martinez is going to find landing clean shots much much harder than he found against Selby. Much harder.

You said Mexican boxing was better than UK boxing because Martinez beating Selby proved it. Well, won't UK boxing be better when Edwards beats Martinez going by your calculations?

Trust me, you're going to be very disappointed when Martinez gets schooled. He's not on Edwards level. That's very clear to anyone who knows boxing. Martinez has a punchers chance, nothing else.
