Why did the ref give Fury a few seconds to walk around after getting knocked down?

to see if he could. jack rees did a very good job in that fight. a lot of referees would have stopped the fight while fury was on the ground.

Standard procedure by a ref to see if the fighter has the legs under him....if fury got up and staggered towards him or lurched in a drunken state he would have stopped it but tyson got up and his legs were absolutely fine.....the ref after a heavy knockdown will always ask a fighter to walk towards him or check movement.......the knockdown is almost identical to briggs when he got dropped by lewis and seemed to be out cold just to add a knockdown pretty much the same

Watch at 2:50, the referee explains before the fight.

Fury was OK and ready to continue before Reiss asked him to walk away and back. If he hadn't been OK, he wouldn't have been able to follow those instructions. Think about it.

Another point .. Wilder came out of the neutral corner and started celebrating while the count was still underway. Reiss could have paused the count and sent him back there. I've seen that happen several times.

I want to know why judges robbed fury. I'm not interested in a supposedly long count.

Get over it man, the ref did an amazing job in that entire fight.

Itt's the judges in question, as well as wilders abiity to box

I think refs do that more often than we realize. The same thing happened on the undercard in the Ortiz fight if I'm not mistaken.

Brezeale is a heavy underdog and already has been starched by anthony joshua. literally nobody will be surprised at the result
