He was never close to being knocked out by Morales stop making up shyt. And Morales ain't a bum he had Machado actually crawling on the canvas and holding on for dear life and Machado went on to become a world champ his very next fight. Garcia has never been dropped as a pro or in over 200 amateur fights he was more tired and gassed out in the Morales fight more then anything else. It sucks but politics determine who gets title shots. In a fair world it shouldn't matter. If you not with the right promoter who controls belts in your weight class you stuck playing the waiting game for your shot.

At 130 Ryan is currently number 1 ranked for WBO waiting on them to mandate that fight with Masayuki Ito. And Golden Boy has Cancio with the WBA belt. Ryan can beat both those guys. Problem is at 135 where all the belts are out of Golden Boy control and there will be politics involved. If they just want him to grab a belt real quick 130 is where it is at. But i agree what's the rush?
