Comments Thread For: Nacho: Canelo is Not The Best, He's Had Some Scoring Help

Hall of Fame trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristin does not view his countryman, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, as the best fighter in the sport. He explains that while he believes Canelo is a great fighter, he also feels the Mexican superstar has received a bit of favoritism from the judges during major fights.

Nacho has had an agenda and beef with Canelo for a decade now. Its getting embarrassing he literally predicts canelo to lose every fight, when he's wrong he criticises the win then repeats all over. I thought his bs would end after Canelo beat the shyt out Chavez who he trained but he still on his Canelo hating. Old bitter hater even refused to accept canelo beating Cotto calling it a robbery LMAO

Nacho said it right. Canelo is a good fighter but he ought to be having some more losses on that record. When judges award him victories he doesn't deserve it only alienates fans from him and he is viewed as a phoney.

              Some losses?

No, he only deserved the L against Floyd

Against Lara and GGG I were fair result

And he definetely beat GGG in the second fight

And Canelo is a better fighter than all the fighters from U.K in the last two decades

this cuts both ways, you could call it sour g****s because Nacho has NEVER had a fighter the stature of Canelo.

But then again...he is right. Canelo has been party to some pretty suspect scorecards, including the Mayweather fight.

Boxing follows the money, it always has, Canelo is just the latest example.

And oh by the way, he is the best fighter in the world, his resume is miles beyond anyone else.

Interesting how you are silent about the 1st GGG fight, sums it all. I can understand the Lara fight, Lara's output slowed down as the fight progressed and Canelo could have nicked it. As for Canelo being a better fighter than fighters from the UK I don't know about that. Without getting into unnecessary and ****** debates I don't need to talk about many people, Lennox Lewis is one of the best fighters of all time and fought during one of the best heavyweight eras. If you think Canelo is better then good luck to you son, enjoy your drugs.

                    Not even ''Meh'' worthy.

If Nelo was his fighter, the old cvnt couldn't get mouth off of Nelo's **** long enough to praise him.
