  • Comments Thread For: Pulev-Dinu Draws Lowest Viewership Since ESPN/Top Rank Deal

Kubrat Pulev has drawn a lot more attention for what he did after defeating Bogdan Dinu than he did during their heavyweight fight Saturday night. ESPN's two-bout broadcast, which featured Pulev and Dinu in the main event, drew an average of 469,000 viewers, according to figures released by Nielsen Media Research. That was the lowest average viewership for a Top Rank boxing show that aired in prime time since ESPN struck an exclusive content deal with Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. in June 2017.

Top Rank is Fn this up. If this ****ty match making continues its going to scare off ESPN from continuing with boxing once the contract is over. And that has nothing to do with boxing and everything to do with Bob messing things up by protecting his fighters.

Not surprising considering it was on a Sunday and Pulev and Dinu are unknowns in America.

Looks like even Muricans know Pulev is boring.

Lol I can't disagree with this theory.

Idk why Arum picks up so many foreign guys. I guess cuz their cheap higher level guys, but the upside is always much smaller with those guys cuz their never gonna blow up much unless you find another Manny. Hell even Loma isn't as popular as he should be.

But I think thats what I'd attribute the poor ratings to. Can't be putting on two foreign guys, neither with much name appeal, & expecting viewers to show up.

Yet still more viewers than DAZN. And cheaper too

Good job boys. Keep talking about Pulev. The more trending and ESPN+ affiliation the more the merrier

I had no idea this was even on TV. Figured it was ESPN+ or Dazzin.
