There are plenty of examples when somebody talks a lot and then loses the fight, and everyone forgets everything, even what had been said. One example is Mikey Garcia, when he and Spence were on a TV show and were exchanging civilities, and Mikey said "I'm a little better than you in everything" in speed, in strength, in stamina, in all the components. And at the end of the day, we all saw that it was completely untrue But does anyone remember that? Does anyone mention it, or write about? Nobody writes about it, everyone just forgets. For boxing fans like myself, It's unthinkable to say such things and not prove them afterwards.
