Sergey Lipinets just wants the proper credit. The welterweight contender recognizes that Lamont Peterson is 35 years old, hadn't fought in 14 months and was stopped by Errol Spence Jr. in his previous bout. You're right, Peterson was not done, hes just flawed and always has been.

Peterson is 35 and the fire had pretty clearly gone out. It is possible Lipinets could have beaten him at an earlier stage in their careers though, Lamont always chose to **** it out with everybody.

If he recognizes all that, he shouldn't "resent the implications!" Lipinets is no pushover! Just needs a better opponent! Josesito Lopez or Yordenis Ugas! Choose one! MAN UP!
