Because those are their most recent fights. Wilder's hype is growing. Joshua's hype is plateauing. In the last year, Wilder has nearly doubled his number of followers while Joshua's following has stayed about the same. Joshua is still far far more popular than Wilder, but Wilder is starting to close the gap a bit.
Wilder smiles: "50/50 or no AJ fight, belts not important"

That's ******ed beyond belief.Because those are their most recent fights. Wilder's hype is growing. Joshua's hype is plateauing. Imagine taking Floyd's last fight vs Berto and thinking that's his worth in a fight against Pacquiao or McGregor.
Just dumb bro.
Wilder has grown his followers. What on social media? Where he still has left than a quarter of AJ?
Ever since he started saying AJs name in every sentence, his stock did go up for sure.
Let's see his numbers vs Breazeale. My guess is it won't crack 1.2 million viewers.
Meanwhile, AJ will take him a minimum 30mil.Comment

You're being disingenuous. I am.nit bothered about what network he fights Breazeale on. My overriding point is simple. He has made zero effort to make the fight with Joshua outside of a bogus 'offer' screeches over social media which he expected AJ to agree to without any T&C's whatsoever. (In fact Wilder knew unequivocally that AJ couldn't accept it so o take it back that he 'expected AJ to accept it - he knew it wouldn't fly). You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but a reasonable person wouldn't draw the conclusions you've drawn.
I don't have to defend anything. I have no stake in any of this.
If you think fighting Breazeale on Showtime instead of fighting Breazeale on DAZN makes Wilder a coward, good for you. It's a bizarre conclusion, but good for you. To a reasonable person, Wilder fighting Breazeale on Showtime instead of DAZN would indicate he's trying to build his profile and will get more exposure fighting on Showtime.
Wilder didn't just get beat. It was a draw. You want to live in a fantasy. I live in reality. The reality is Fury largely out boxed Wilder, but got dropped twice, was a split second from being counted out in the 12th, and the judges ruled it a draw, as did about 40% of the most prominent ringside experts.
Regardless, even giving that the benefit of the doubt, how can any reasonable boxing observer make a case for Wilder to get 50%.? He simply is not remotely as commercially viable as Joshua and he has one belt V four.
You know this already though.Comment

Nobody said that. Classic troll tactic. Counter a position nobody took. Just because Wilder's most recent PPV generated more money than Joshua's most recent PPV doesn't mean Wilder deserves 50/50. He doesn't. The point is simply that when a UK troll claims Wilder's PPV flopped, they need to remember it's triple the price and actually did just as well as Joshua's PPV.
Yes. Again, nobody dis*****g that Joshua is far more popular. But when a UK troll claims nobody knows who Wilder is, it should be pointed out that he has more followers than almost any other heavyweight. A guy like Dillian Whyte only has 270,000 followers. Wilder has 1,700,000. A lot of people know who Wilder is. Just not as many as Joshua. However, since Wilder's from a country where followers pay 3x as much to see fights as Joshua's followers do, you start to see why 60/40 is fair.Wilder has grown his followers. What on social media? Where he still has left than a quarter of AJ?
Not really going out on a limb there. Showtime fights usually do a few hundred thousand. Only Wilder consistently flirts with a million on Showtime.Let's see his numbers vs Breazeale. My guess is it won't crack 1.2 million viewers.
Big problem for you. AJ's fight is in the US. His filed purse will go public for the first time ever. What will you say when his filed purse is a tiny fraction of 30 million?Meanwhile, AJ will take him a minimum 30mil.Comment

It wasn't a bogus offer. Hearn, Joshua, Finkel, Espinoza, etc all confirmed it was legit.
He also accepted 15 flat to go to the UK. He did everything possible to make the fight last year. Hearn just refused to do the fight last year. Feeling jerked around and lied to, Wilder said **** it, I won't take the fight until it's 50/50. Now he's on a mission to improve his worth until he can get 50/50. Good for him. A man should have goals.Comment
