I like the guy, but with the standard of competition @ 147Lb his only hope for a genuine title is Commonwealth or African boxing union.

Chris is a good fighter and will give a good fight to a lot of fighters, but sadly I don't see him beating any of the Champs.

I think fights on undercards against Horn would be good or it could be the main bill in Australia. Australians and South Africans are very competitive especially in other sports like rugby and cricket. This fight could definitely sell down there. If he wins that one maybe against Danny Garcia or even Robert Guerrero seeing his come out of retirement, these could be good entertaining fights.

I can't actually see him beating Spence, Thurman or Crawford.

I’m glad to see him signed with top rank. He can work his way to a title shot and make some money for himself in the process. Sorry to hear about his father. South Africa is a rough country, always has been.

Good for him signing with Top Rank. That should get him some fights, even if he is fed to Crawford. Maybe he doesn't become world champion, but he'll get paid.

Solid guy with good boxing fundamentals. Not intimidated by anyone.
                  He makes for good fights.
Wish him nothing but the best in a tough division
