That was because he was signed to Haymon and GYM. Now that he's signed to Top Rank he'll be a lot more active.

accurate comment...the biggest oxymoron in sports is to say that a PBC fighter has momentum....where the hell is Russell Jr, Tank, DSG is back soon from god knows how long, Thurman [ insert giggles here ] Spence just came back from a year layoff, Stevenson glad he is getting better, but he was very inactive...the Dirells and Petersons seem like boxing is more of a hobby then their career...I dunno I love the fights but the inactivity creates unfamiliar faces to the casuals so there will never be any momentum built for any of these divas to actually earn the $$$ they crave.

GYM is not aligned with DAZN. Their top fighters ( Rivas, Alvarez) are aligned with Top Rank. I don't think you actually read the article.

I said years ago Beterbiev's career would break through if he severed ties with GYM. Hope I turn out right. That's the cesspool of boxing.

They probably wanted him to spend the next 5 years doing "regional showcases" like lucian bute & pedo/rapist adonis stevenson.
