Comments Thread For: Callum Johnson: I Can KO Anyone at 175 - I'd Love Dmitry Bivol

On Saturday night in Verona, New York, light heavyweight contender Callum Johnson blew away Sean Monaghan in three rounds. Johnson (18-1, 13 KOs) bounced back from a TKO defeat at the hands of IBF world champion Artur Beterbiev. Monaghan (29-3, 17 KOs) was no match for the power of Johnson.

Battle of the Callums? Smith vs. Johnson @ 175! Why not?

Because they're both trained by Joe Gallagher. It'd be a good scrap though.

Oops! Didn't know that! I don't want that then! I didn't like Jacobs vs. Derevyanchenko either! Don't break up a happy home!

It's great to see him getting exposure in the States as he can **** and always puts on a show. There's so many great options at 175 for him to explore. Personally i'd like to see him fight Badou Jack but more likely is Fanlong Meng/ Sullivan Barrera.

He’s been mentioned as a possible opponent for Buatsi this year. Got to say I think that’s way to soon for Buatsi, as good as he is.

Agreed. I think Hearn valued Johnson at a similar level to Burton, Buglioni and Craig Richards until he demolished 'Wise Guy'. A few fights later, Callum Johnson is undoubtedly World Level.

Hopefully, the Buatsi fight gets made next year. It shouldn't be difficult to organise.

Joe smith would stop Johnson. Bivol would just play with him.

As long as you don't try fighting Beterbiev again...Bivol or Kovalev would be better options...maybe try fight the next hype job Yarde

Monaghan is hardly elite level but CJ really smashed him from the opening bell.
