              He never made the adjustments necessary to improve. Looked up to Tito instead of Cotto; wanted to fight like Tito, instead of using his reach and distance more wisely, because, despite knocking out a few bums, his power didn't transfer into fights with tougher competition. Also, his ego consumed him, and he acted like he made it before he actually did. Not every fighter can be popular like Tito and not have it ruin his motivation.

                It’s never. I liked Verdejo but he’s shown a lack of growth that really takes away any trust I had in him. Hopefully he wins tho. I’m pulling for him.

                  I look forward to his comeback once more. He has the tools and a nice style to watch.

                  Bryan Vasquez is a real opponent but if he can put it together, he can win.
