  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Sees Joshua-Wilder as Far More Doable Than Joshua-Fury

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, views Deontay Wilder as a far more doable fight than a potential showdown with Tyson Fury. Hearn believes there are now fare more barriers to making a fight with Fury - since the British boxer signed an exclusive deal with ESPN and Top Rank. He is also promoted by Frank Warren and has an exclusive deal in the UK with BT Sport.

Hearn doesn’t want AJ to fight either Wikder /Fury right now

While Wilder has a good chance to take AJs soul from his chest if they fought. AJ also has a good chance of getting some rounds and winning the fight by decision or KO

With Fury’s size , IQ , Boxing style /ability AJ doesn’t stand much of a
Chance of getting many rounds off or beating Fury.

Espn contract or not Hearn wants AJ to fight Fury probably about as much as he wants AJ to fight Wikder just for different reasons

Wilder has a chance to take Aj’s soul from his chest and AJ has a good chance of getting some rounds and winning by decision...... what an unbiased post. I will take a wild stab in the dark and suggest you are a AJ fan?

          Come on man

I said AJ has the chance for the KO, You mad I didn’t write take Wikder soul with the KO , cool although AJ recently hasn’t really been the fighter to destroy his opponents by 1 punch more of a accumulated beating / he can also take his soul also if he gets the KO ( happy)

But In the unlikely event AJ/Wilder goes the distance who do you think that benefits. I think everyone will say AJ . That’s what I meant get some ( the ) rounds needed to get a W on the cards. Is that really a crazy statement to make.

Against Fury I think if AJ doesn’t get the KO he doesn’t stand a chance to get the rounds needed for W.

He offered Wilder 60/40 mate, wilder said nooooooooooo

Wilder demanding 50/50 means he doesnt want the fight

              its that simple

There’s something Shelley doesn’t like about the language of the deal. I think Shelley turned the deal down on his own. That’s how far away they are numbers wise. That’s what I gathered from the interview that was posted yesterday. He said the offer wasn’t worthy of a response, so I doubt he even brought the offer to Wilder.

Hearn has a wild card...Oleksandr Usyk! If Usyk looks good in his debut at HW, he wouldn't need to offer big money to either Wilder or Fury! Joshua vs. Usyk will do well in the UK! If i'm Hearn, I would be setting up Whyte vs. Usyk, winner gets Joshua!

On the other side of the Pond, I would be setting up Ortiz vs. Kowncaki, winner gets the winner of Wilder vs. Breazeale!

Lastly, TR could set up Pulev vs. Rivas! Winner gets the winner of Fury vs. Parker!

Where's Tony Yoka, and how did he become ranked #12 by the WBC in 5 fights?

Fight fans, keep an eye on Filip Hrgovic! Already WBC International Champion. Ranked # 8 by the WBA, #12 by the IBF, and #15 by the WBO! Only 7 fights!

Efe Ajagba...LET'S GO! They sleeping on you sun! No Top 15 rankings by anyone? Disrespectful!

Cool , Didn’t want to make it seem like AJ didn’t have more ways to win.

                    Yeah man agree

That combination of Height, IQ and weird non athletic Fat White Man style of constantly feinting , jerking using his jab non stop with the ability to use angles to rarely get hit flush constantly is a nightmare for any HW and if it goes the distance he will almost always win in what can be considered a boring pure boxing exhibition and that includes AJ or Wilder

If AJ / Wikder fought itd probably be about as boring as Fury /Klit , With Tyson never risking anything or getting in trouble just wanting to survive and be happy to outbox and get most the rounds
