And if it ends up that way that'll probably mean it'll also be controversial decision of the year.

The probwith posters like you is your bias:

        Canelo-Lara: Close, NOT controversial...just could've gone either way 7-5/6-6/5-7

Canelo-Trout: Close, but CLEAR with the KD

        Canelo-Cotto: Cotto, but CLEAR

Canelo-GGG1: Close, but NOT controversial. All three judges gave Canelo the S A M E 5 rounds (1, 2, 10, 11, 12). Finding a 6th round is not rocket science, nor a 7th round (3, 4, etc.)...my personal card for Canelo was 2, 3, 4, and 11 (1, 10, and 12 could've gone either way...If Canelo gets maximum benefit of doubt he could've won up to 7 rounds...I had him with 4 rounds clean and up to 3 other rounds depending on what a viewer likes...clean, efficient work or volume and dictation)

Canelo-GGG2: Close, but NOT controversial. Fight could've been a draw, but Gennadyovich did NOT win the fight by any stretch of the imagination. Gennadyovich ****** either LOST (which he did) or, best case scenario, drew.

Canelo is a 1st ballot HOF and a great fighter, but he's not an ATG (yet). His inability to separate himself from competition has made it difficult to place him among the truly special fighters in history.

Even if you had GGG blasting out Canelo twice...both fights were very close as was his fight with Danny Jacobs (another guy who is NOT an ATG and Danny might not even be HOF...yet). No matter how you slice it...GGG is also on that level...HOF, but not ATG. Whether you're for Canelo, for GGG, or indifferent, the two fighters are evenly matched.

Jfc bro calm down lmfao. Never seen someone write such a long emotional response to an off the cuff jokey post I made.

I'm just saying what most are thinking. Canelo IS a tremendous fighter. He also has had some sketchy ass scorecards more than most.

And there has been one super sketchy scorecard a few times in his fights. That Byrd 2 rds for GGG card & the 6-6 even card in the Floyd fight were two of the most obvious signs of judge corruption I've seen in recent times in boxing.

FOTY? More like after two rounds DJ realizes he can´t hurt Canelo and DJ then spends most of the fight on his bike. Tries to come forward a few times only to get painfully countered.
