Comments Thread For: Hearn: After Jacobs Beats Canelo, Then Andrade or GGG is Next

Matchroom Sports CEO Eddie Hearn has heard the circulating talk that Canelo Alvarez wants to unify the entire middleweight division. Canelo, who holds the WBC, WBA middleweight belts, is facing Hearn promoted boxer, IBF middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs, on May 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“DAZN wants Jacobs then GGG for Canelo this year”. Hearn is always going all over the place to sell fights. Lol. The man is almost as funny as Oscar

After Jacobs is defeated, how will Hearn feel when Oscar forces Skipper to make the Andrade figHt. It means Hearn no longer has Middleweight champs. Is there anything Hearn can do about this?

If Danny beats GGG it's not because he is better than GGG, but because GGG is 37. Unlike Danny. GGG wsas absolutely the best in the division. If he were from the UK or US he'd be worshipped. The guy is a rare example of what a true champion should be: humble, professional, dedicated, drama free and levels above 99,99% of his competition.

Of course he would, it would mean Jacobs with Matchroom is worth more. Don’t worry, Hearns feels Luis Arias and Sulecki are levels above Canelo

Here is the problem Hearn wants DAZN to succeed that means signing big money to canelo for and hoping he keeps winning and sign GGG with the promise of a big day with Canelo/GGG 3 in Sept. Canelo winning is in Hearn best interest but his fighter is Jacob lol He said the same things heading into the Rocky Fielding fight but had Rocky upset Canelo it would of been a massive hit to DAZN and Hearn despite Rocky being his fighter.

Hearn will be praying for Canelo to beat his own guy come May no matter what he says publicly to sell the fight.

ONLY if Hearn is the kind of Person who puts Money OVER LOYALTY to his fighter (Daniel Jacobs)

Nah, Hearn will have to pay the 365 millions to nelo now...

How you promote a fighter to make so much money and so huge anticipated fights when dude has lost to Danny Jacobs who, no disrespect to DJ, has lost his 2 big fights career versus GGG and Pyrog.
