Why bring up Amateur when I was talking about Povetkin fight v Hammer? Povetkin didn't land anything of consequence in 12 rounds where Ortiz actually hurt hammer to the body a couple of times

AJ couldn't even crush Takam or Parker that early and Ortiz is way better.
hammer got stopped wach and fury ..spilka and washington got sparked quicker by kownacki and both of them were beating wilder lol.
Duhaupas was knocked clean out by povetkin and wilder was level on points and couldnt even drop him
Yiu wanna play that game son your lose.
Wilder was schooled by fury yiu wanna play that game lol
All wilder has to do is sign to fight aj and we will see that useless yank get stretchered out.
Wilder is a bum and his game is up gumbo.

Lets see what he doe's with breazeal next.

        Very true.

-Hammer fought Wach in barely his 8th fight 10 years ago, Wach already had 21 fights.
-Hammer was more aggressive against Fury & Wach, he only tried to survive against Ortiz.
-Hammer went 12 with Pedvetkin and didn't get hurt nearly as often
-Duhapas took the Pedvetkin fight on a day's notice & Pedvetkin tested positive for ostarine.

Hearn is terrified of Wilder and even AJ doesn't sound confident, turned down a 50 mill offer, won't give Wilder fair odds, only called out Wilder when he wanted to give Fury the rematch, he doesn't even have a win as good as either Fury or Ortiz.

Let me see....how about the Jennings and Wilder fights just to name a few? He completely dissected and koed Jennings who was considered a top heavyweight at the time.He was battering Wilder all over the ring until he abandoned his game plan and threw caution to the wind and was eventually stopped himself. But he was battering Wilder for most of the fight and clearly beating him,and was on the verge of stopping him, until he himself was stopped,as a result of carelessness.Anyone claiming Ortiz is a non factor doesn't know boxing or is either biased against him or both.

They keep mentioning his name when listing possible opponents but you say "he's a nobody". Thank you for proving my point and exposing yourself as another self-contradicting idiot....

And yes they'll still duck him because most these so called "fighters" are pu$$ies that don't want to challenge themselves.

Well at least that's the narrative that I keep hearing from English fans on this forum who attempt to discredit, slander and smear Wilder's TKO victory over him due to the fact that he was both old, sickly and had hypertension.
First he was removed from the WBA, then the WBC.

Then wilder decided he wanted to fight him anyway.

No one ducked Ortiz, he got himself in trouble.

He beat Jennings 20 years ago when he was in his twenties he is old now. I will concede he was battering Wilder all over the place which isn’t in my eyes an amazing feat because Wilder is always getting outboxed until that Thor hammer hits home

I was really excited about this killer Cuban I’d heard so much about fighting on Matchroom, then I watched the Allen and Scott fights and any excitement evaporated. Make no mistake, Ortiz might have won comfortably but both fights stunk the place out.

Conversely to your opinion, I think Matchroom signed him in the hope of building a Joshua fight, not protecting him.

The thing is with Ortiz, exciting performances seem to be the exception rather than the rule. Who’s he looked good against since fighting Scott? Cojanu? Martz? Absolute trash. Without getting stopped by Wilder, no one would even be mentioning his name.

No, he was initially suspended by both the WBA and the WBC. However the WBC lifted their suspension after Ortiz served four months of it and was then reinstated to challenge Deontay Wilder for his WBC title.

However, the WBA did not reinstate him because he refused to submit a B' sample for the initial positive test. So the WBA decided to suspend him initially for six months and then subsequently for an entire year and removed both his mandatory status and him completely off their rankings list altogether.

Their justification at the time was that Ortiz was a repeat offender for popping dirty several years prior in 2014 for anabolic steroids.
