You're right about Lara. I forgot about him...
I would like to see if Munguia can overwhelm Trout the way Hurd did. Not saying he will or that he'll stop Trout but it would be a good test for him. Eventually he's gonna have to step up his competition and Trout is as good a test as any.. ..Comment

Even with high mileage on his odometer, Trout is a guy who gives most fighters fits. Both Charlos struggled against him as did Cotto back in the day. Hurd was getting outboxed by Trout and losing some early rounds before Swift finally overwhelmed him. You're right about Lara. I forgot about him...

Trout would be a good, stiff test for Munguia but not one he's guaranteed of winning, especially if he doesn't come prepared.Comment

I agree with everything you said! It won't be an easy fight for Munguia and there's no guarantee he'll win but that's exactly the type of fight he needs!Even with high mileage on his odometer, Trout is a guy who gives most fighters fits. Even if he loses it won't be the end of the world for him. He's gaining a huge fan base, especially among Mexicans/Latinos and he's still young enough that a loss won't really affect him the way a loss to Mayweather didn't affect Canelo's star power.
Too many people put too much emphasis on an undefeated record and while it's nice to have it's not the most important thing in boxing.
Fans like myself give more props to a fighter with losses who tests himself against the best instead of an undefeated fighter who doesn't take chances and is looking to keep that "0" on his record by cherry-picking opponents....Comment

Is there any chance we will ever see Munguia against a LIVE body (mandatory or not) ?
Or are they trying to keep him safe until they can get a Canelo payday?!?!
How long can they keep this travesty up .....Comment
