I didn't see the fight....was this another Dirrell pulling a quit job? The story doesn't say wether the ref called the cut a butt or a punch at the time it happened.

I am going to have to rewatch the fight I wasn't sure if the referee called it when it happened either. I know in the Douglin fight the cut wasn't so bad and Dirrel acted like it was though it wasn't on the eye or even pouring down into the eye from what I saw at least. This cut was a lot worse. It's ridiculous the leeway some fighters get. They need to stop fights like these and order an immediate rematch as long as the butt didn't look intentional or at least use instant replay in these situations. Refs are not infallible.

I saw the Delgado fight which was stopped after 4. The cut was not bleeding really and even though Delgado was deducted a point for the head clash it was stopped as unintentional.
