It seems that no matter what the evidence, people just believe what they want to even in the face of solid evidence.
Psychologists have become more interested in this during Donald Trump's presidency. The data shows that, despite overwhelming and irrefutable proof that he has lied and made false claims (lies + Mexico will pay for the wall) many low IQ people cannot be dissuaded from their original, false position.
It's a recognized psychological phenomena. I see the same thing happening with Wilder fans / Joshua detractors. Despite every piece of actual evidence showing that Joshua wants it and Wilder does not, even including statements from.both saying and agreeing that Joshua is begging for the fight and now actual numbers of sales of tickets and interest in AJ versus Wilder- in his own country, it is incredible to see deniers still sticking to their "earth is flat" type positions even with actual evidence right in front of their eyes.
