He is not unwilling to test himself! That's why he's been disrespectful of Mayweather! He wants more, but him and Floyd have a rocky relationship! He doesn't have the power in that relationship like Joshua has with Hearn! He can only move when Floyd says so! Hopefully Tevin Farmer gets away from Hearn/DAZN later this year (as he has hinted), so we can get this Philly vs. B-More Classic!

Farmer is with DAZN. That's one reason.

In any case I hope Davis stays active this year and gets some meaningful opponents. He looks special, his skills and athletic gifts have P4P potential.

have you seen PBC's roster at 130? Tank either moves up, or fights someone from another stable.

PBC has some heavy hitters at 126 lb that might move up.

But yes, the network and promoter boundaries should be crossed otherwise they are ruining the sport.

In Tank’s case it is very very disappointing, the same with Errol spence, destroys Brook and then no meaningful fights, not active enough. Didn’t build up on it.

If Tank isn’t ready for Loma then fine, if he isn’t ready for Farmer then fine, but what’s with the “He would beat them” comments that we then read from people?

I mean I rate Tank highly but the fact that they haven’t kept him active and haven’t look to push him is just plain ******.
I think the difference with Spence is that he wants the big fights. He wants to fight the toughest competition and calls them out by name, but there is nothing he can do if they won't get in the ring with him. The only one he kinda skirted around trying to fight was Crawford. He still should take more fights to stay active though, even if the competition isn't spectacular.

Tank can't feed off 126ers his whole career. He's already a 135er fighting at 130lbs

No, but if he can get fights with Gary Russell and Leo Santa Cruz soon then there is some good money to be made there at 130 still.

He seems happy wth Hearn, money wise that is. If Showtime were paying big bucks Hearn will allow him to fight Tank on showtime . Remember Lou d is connected with Farmer and didn’t want to deny him an opportunity of making good money. Off course if the money was with Showtime Farmer would be there. I feel Tank would fight Farmer on Dazn he is about that paper but Mayweather promotions are not having it. However, unfortunately he is the fighter so the onus is on him to at least be vocal and explain why you are not in the fights your fans expect you to be in

You already described him as "disloyal." Imagine if he did that! Do you understand the connection to Tank and the show "The Wire?" Salute to Idris Elba! Anyway, Tank is trying to mature, and hopefully Floyd does the right thing! As for Farmer:

                    January 10, 2019:

DiBella: Davis-Farmer 'Meaningful Possibility' For Late 2019

“You could probably see a Gervonta Davis fight [with Farmer.] I think it’s probably inevitable,” said DiBella. “If it happens in 2019 it will be late in the year. It won’t be early because of Tevin’s contract with DAZN. But late in the year, it’s certainly a meaningful possibility.”

A grudge match of 130-pound southpaws between Baltimore’s WBA “super” champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and IBF counterpart Tevin Farmer is “probably inevitable” and “a meaningful possibility” for 2019, Farmer’s promoter, Lou DiBella told Tha Boxing Voice during a Tuesday podcast hosted by Nestor Gibbs, Ronald Goodall, Michael Gross and Mario Mungia.

Based on what I've seen from Davis (except for one out of shape fight) he will do well with any of the 130 pounders and probably the 135 pounders as well. This includes Lomachenko. Still, he has to fight these guys and while I feel he is the real deal, he might just get exposed. I want to find out for sure how good he really is.
