Comments Thread For: Josh Warrington vs. Kid Galahad is Next, Says Frank Warren

Frank Warren, promoter for IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington, has revealed that his boxer will make his second defense of the world title against his mandatory challenger, Sheffield's Kid Galahad. Warren won the IBF's purse bid - beating out Galahad's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport.

Not a big marketable fight as Galahad hasnt really done much to prove hes on the top level but should be a good fight this.. Galahad is a very good slick boxer that has a good work rate. Will see how he deals with Warringtons relentless force for 12 rounds.

So Frank bought a fight against what he calls is the worst possible opponent and then allegedly is going to put it on ppv ... business sense zero .. he is literally anti - promoting .. if he did nothing it woul dbe better.

If Warrington didn't accept the fight he would get stripped by the IBF obviously

Really hope this doesn’t go to ppv. Frank warren is so critical of sky for their ppv events but generally Eddie only puts on decent cards on sky ppv’s.

Not really sure what he can add to the undercard to make this a successful one?

Cool. A solid but not monstrous opponent for Warrington after 2 super difficult opponents and allows him to get his mando out of the way now in an all British fight. I like it. Now let's get Oscar Valdez in a rematch with Servania to set a potential unification in the fall

Eddie's recent PPV undercards on terms of names have been absolutely wank.

                  Bellew v Usyk - terrible
                  Whyte v Chisora - horrendous
                  AJ v Povetkin - poor

Warren's card on Frampton Warrington was way better than anything Hearn has done in a long time.

Warrington is basic but very effective. I thought Selby and Frampton would beat him but man, the guy is so relentless. Can't see how Galahad keeps him off as I don't think he can hurt him. Interesting fight though.
