If hopkins and roy jones beat an old calzaghe....

Would the win have been dismissed because calzaghe was old and not in his prime? Or would they have said he was 'exposed' even though he was getting on in age too?

I think it would of been a bit from both. Considering both Roy and Hopkins were older and had been in the game longer than Joe you would of seen a lot of "they whooped him when he was old, imagine what prime Jones or Hopkins would of done"

Then you would get a lot of "Joe was old and past prime so it isn't that good a win" from the UK crowd.

The Hopkins win for Calzaghe was decent, there are still those that think Hopkins won. It was such a bad fight and I wasn't impressed by either guy. The Jones win for Calzaghe just isn't great at all. It's a name on his resume but Jones was far past it then
