Comments Thread For: Jesus Rojas Disappointed In Scoring, Calls For Xu Can Rematch

Saturday's spirited featherweight war in Houston between Xu Can and Jesus Rojas left the boxing world abuzz-and both combatants at odds over the outcome. Can claimed a surprisingly wide unanimous decision win in his first career title fight and just his second visit to the United States. The 24-year old from southeast China had an answer for everything Rojas had to offer, ultimately prevailing by seemingly too wide scores of 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110.

The Chinese fighter was given 'the benefit of the doubt'
due to the current political issues going on between China
and North America. You can make a valid argument that
the Chinese fighter did deserve to win, but the scorecards
were far too wide in his favor.
The complete opposite happened to the Japanese fighter
involved in the main event. Inoue did not win, but the
scores made it seem like he was never in the fight at all.

The fight was a robbery. Rojas was the clear winner.
