Comments Thread For: Josesito Lopez Values Improvements To His Game Under Garcia

If there's a single universal take on the 15-year career of Josesito Lopez, it's that the tough-as-nails welterweight from California has never shied away from a challenge. The image he's looking to ditch, is that of a well-known opponent.

Thurman has been out for awhile. Lopez better take it to him while the rust is thick.

I like Robert Garcia and his team.
Thurman has annoyed me lately with avoiding a Spence fight.
Josesito broke Victor's jaw lol so I always liked him after that
        So I'm rooting for Lopez

Lopez looked really solid last time out vs Cruz. By all accounts he is looking strong in camp and knows this is his last opportunity. His best chance is definitely to jump on Thurman. Wouldn't be surprised if both shared KDs in the early rounds. Eventually, Thurman should use his far superior skill set to take control of the fight and score a stoppage or a clear decision win. But early I agree with Paulie that we can see some fireworks.
