Very impressive numbers for boxing. This sport is in prime position to get the push back into popular culture’s view. If fans just stop acting like ****heads, rival promoters actively seek to make the best fights available, and the incompetent and obviously corrupt judging stops then boxing can truly get the popularity and revenue that it deserves.

Can't believe the Simpsons averaged almost ten times the amount of viewers the PBC card did....??
WTF is wrong with people and the piece of shet Simpsons cartoon??
That was a great fight and a good card overall!
I wouldn't mind If PBC had fight nights every Sunday,....

          Plant

Excellent numbers for FS1 and certainly for a Sunday evening as well. Plant has the right complexion and background for white America to be intersted in.....and he can actually fight, and when I mean fight I mean box like a black American and mix it up on the inside as well. PBC should push him, that’s a star in the making right there

"Their bout played to a robust 917,000 viewers, marking the best performance for any single boxing match to appear on Fox Sports’ regional cable network. The telecast’s overall average for the night more than doubled any previous edition of PBC on FS1."

Plus another 500k for the countdown show? Sensational figures.

Where are all those idiots who claimed I was a PBC nuthugger for acknowledging the obvious value the PBC brand has? The ratings were telling a story the whole time, but many boxing fans aren't rational.

As I've said time and time again. Al Haymon will sell a stake in this busines for more than $1B in the near future. I'd expect it around the time the Showtime deal comes near its end. The comparables with the UFC should be obvious now for the detractors.
