Lubin also whooped on Amir Imam when he was only like 18 years old, but sparring is sparring. If Lubin's chin is truly suspect, then it won't matter how good his skillset is.

I wouldn't even call that a suspect chin. He got caught by a shot that
        he definitely didn't see coming.

Very well could be the case. However, he also got dropped early in his career. At this point he needs to prove he has at least a respectable chin. If he does, then he is going to live up to his potential and will be a problem for years to come. His offensive skill set is pretty damn advanced for his age. Lubin also just looks so much smaller than most of these big 154 pounders. Maybe he should have tried to start out at WW for a few years before moving up to 154.

Oh didn't know he got dropped earlier. Yeah his defense really is a bit lacking and the fighters in WW and Super are pretty good so he won't be able to get away with it. In terms of Harrison though I think he can take him out.

Lot of dudes don’t understand this — sparring is sparring, it ain’t fighting. When it’s on for real, things are different.

How many stories have we heard about this guy getting the better of Mayweather in sparring or this guy getting the better of Pacquiao in sparring and then come fight time those two would be levels above the competition? While the other guys "getting the best of them" would look mediocre as hell?

Different fighters work on different things in sparring. Someone could be working on landing a certain punch, while their sparring partner could be looking to take their head off. These sparring stories are just zzzzzz to me.

Sparring is different from a live boxing match lol Also I'd like to see Lubin bounce back and become a champion. I feel robbed in that Charlo fight he had, that sucka got dropped by a punch he didn't see coming SMH lol haha You have to come back strong kid, otherwise you'll become the next Ishe Smith ironically
