Comments Thread For: Liam Williams Eyes Opportunities at 154 and 160-Pounds

Two-weight British champion Liam Williams is eager to return to action but remains open to the prospect of resuming his career at both 154lb and 160lb. The Welsh wizard produced the performance of a lifetime to stop Mark Heffron and lift the British middleweight crown in Manchester back in December having previously won British, European and Commonwealth titles as a light-middle.

I really would like to do know what did Mark Hefron do to warrant a title shot. I checked his record and not one guy from England was decent that he has fought so how did get a chance to fight for vacant title

I would love to travel to the UK to watch a football match or boxing match. Then go to the pub for dinner and beers. One day.

And somehow he went in as bookies favourite! He was massively exposed in that fight.

The fight was very similar to the Corcoran bout with the trash talk and a late stoppage. It was pleasing to see Liam control the fight and actually box, unlike when he lost his head in the aforementioned fight (despite winning). I cant think of many fighters who join the Wincobank gym and come out worse fighters. Onwards and Upwards for 2019.
