Sad to hear about the stuff that he's going thru but remember 4-5 years ago when he bolted HBO and went to Showtime to avoid the boogie man of the division at the time in Sergey Kovalev? People said he left because he didn't want to lose and left for health reasons because Sergey was dropping everyone like flies at the time. Now you look at his situation now and he is in a predicament that he was trying to avoid in 2014. Isn't there a bit of irony there? Hope he pulls thru but damn. That is a bit ironic.

It would have been ironic if this had happened to him against Fonfara in 2014, but not in 2018 at the age of 41 when Kovalev himself has been stopped twice since then.
