Its the biggest Heavyweight fight in almost 2 decades . Offering a champion a flat fee for a unification of this magnitude is just taking the pish and shows Hearn is not serious about making the fight.

You can go on about Parker but I think Joshua was prepared to pay for his belt. He was taking on minimal risk against a boxer no-one thought could win.

With Wilder, one haymaker could make the difference. It's a risky fight with a big prize in the undisputed title (though I think most would believe the winner not to be the undisputed best until they beat Fury).

Wilder still isn't bringing too much to the party. Even post Fury. It's Joshua's team's job to get him the best deal if he's going to take on this fight.

It's a bigger fight. Thus the purse will and should be bigger. The $40M flat fee Mayweather offered Pac was more than Pac made in his previous fight, but it was still a low ball offer.

As far as the flat fee offer being more than what he made against fury , how do you know what he cleared from the fury fight ?? I know there were reports it was in the 15 million range . Anyway it goes like this you might buy a Ford Taurus and have a car payment of $300.00 you buy a Lexus you have a car payment of $700.00 so if you fight a fighter that brings less value to the table how can you make more ? I can tell you this , AJ is going to make less fighting Whyte than he would wilder . So there really is no point to your statement.
