  • Comments Thread For: Booth Surprised That Khan vs. Brook is Still Being Discussed

Veteran trainer Adam Booth, who works with Josh Kelly, Ryan Burnett, Michael Conlan and others, is surprised that a welterweight clash between Amir Khan and Kell Brook is still being discussed. The fight between Khan and Brook has been in play for several years - and no deal has been in sight.

Brook is not at the races mentally, there is something wrong with him. Khan would beat him if they fought tomorrow.

Finally someone with sense .This fight is done , Amir Khan looked completely washed up and has NO place in any sort of PPV fight .Kell Brook although slightly better does also not deserve a PPV status after such a poor showing. The truth is 'the Hearns' need return on their three fight investment that again looks like wasted money!

These two fighters are finished and thank god someone with sense see's this.

My friend Khan struggled to beat a hand picked light punching nobody last time out and was twice saved by the bell and knocked down, looked totally shyte.......that's fact, your guessing.

Adam Booth is, and always has been, an arrogant twat. Why is his opinion even relevant on this subject? Answer: It isn't.

This is true. Booth once again using Khan's and Brooks name to make himself and Josh Kelly relevant even after it's been proven he's a lying cúnt that pulled his fighter Kelly out with Avanesayan because it was a 50/50 fight not because he was ill and comments like are to gloss over that duck. He's know for doing shít like this. See Haye.

Booth can talk all the shít he wants but the fact remains, relevant or not, Khan vs Brooks is one of the richest domestic fights of recent years in the UK and will sell out no matter the capacity once they do that first conference and the shít talking begins.

Booth needs to worry about his own fighters. Kelly is a dead man walking at 147 struggles to even get down to 147 which is full of killers. WTF is he going to do at 154? Let me guess...he's going to be the next legendary bum killer that replaces Kell Brook. Fighting bums, washed up gatekeepers and late call ups then try to steal a belt once they see someone easy enough to steal it off then go back to fighting bums and find smh.

I tend to agree with Booth that they are both past their best, I don't fully agree with his quote about Brook's face telling a story though. Some people just look older, some people look younger than they are in the face. Brook looks like a guy in his early 30's, like he is. I think he may have lost reaction time, which his style greatly relies on, but moving trainer to Fewkes, with no big time pedigree whatsoever, won't have helped his defensive skills.
